Truly successful people will live forever. Guaranteed. Yeah, I know that’s pretty bold talk. Because I’ve read success letters written by all the best marketing and motivational speakers on the planet. Oh wait.
Actually, I’ve read 13 success letters in the New Testament of the Bible.
And those marketing and motivational speakers don’t hold a candle to what the apostle Paul wrote and shared with anyone who cares and dares to listen and read it.
I know, I got you all pumped up and jazzed for some internet marketing secrets. Or maybe you were hoping for some special tips on how to think positive and be positive. Nothing wrong with those things. But they don’t truly define success.
Sure, you can build empires, employ tens of thousands of people, and even change the world for the better with the right skills. But if. you never trust your Creator, you will lose your soul. And that ain’t success. That’s failure on a scale you don’t want to imagine.
So, how about those success letters? Well, as I said before, they’re in the best selling book of all time.
I’m talking about the 13 letters Paul wrote to the new Christians who were Romans, Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Thessalonians. And he wrote some more personal letters to Timothy, Titus, and Philemon. And over and over in those letters Paul shares the key to success. It’s this. Love and trust in Jesus to change you and give you eternal life.
Because without eternal life all your efforts lead to failure.
And there’s nothing you can do that will make a bigger difference for now and forever. Not even if you use so-called artificial (or super) intelligence. Yeah, not even a self-driving car or commerce dynasty is gonna be a truly lasting legacy. You won’t be able to create something so powerful the world will never forget your name.
But enough of that dreary news. The better thing to remember is that God won’t forget you. So here’s a bit of unsolicited advice…
A word to the confounded,
Pour light into your eyes.
If you expect more than neglect,
Get wisdom; yeah get wise.
