If you’re a Christian conservative kinda person, like me, you might be inclined to think nothing much good comes out of the former Golden State. But I discovered at least one thing worth checking out. The California poppy. Yeah, that’s right. A flower.
But the California Poppy isn’t just another pretty face in the flower world.
What if I told you that you could replace sleeping pills with a California poppy? Of course, if you don’t take sleeping pills, that’s no big deal to you. But even if you have an occasional hard time sleeping, this little flower could help you without the risk you get when you take sleeping pills or other drugs.
Here’s a little blurb from an expert about the snazzy little flower and how it can help:
California poppy helps support a restorative, deep sleep like we enjoyed as children, when falling and staying asleep for at least eight hours each night were both effortless. Why risk the addiction of prescription sleeping pills when you can make your own Sleep Tea from this plant?
I usually drink it before bed and then doze off soon after, while I’m reading or watching TV. You could not wake me up easily; my kids have tried a few times. Now, if your bout of insomnia is of the more serious nature or you’re suffering from PTSD, just turn California poppy into a more concentrated sleep tincture. That should do it.
Pretty cool, don’t you think?
I do. And that’s why I recommend, to anyone who has room in their backyard or even their front yard, the Medicinal Seed Kit put together by the woman who said that. She has spent years developing what she calls your natural backyard pharmacy.
And the Medicinal Seed Kit is the easiest way to start.
I remember, when I was just a little kid, before everybody started using mass-produced, over-the-counter medicines, the “old folks” used plants and other natural things for cuts and bruises and other ailments.
And I believe those natural ways are the best ways. Especially when you can know, without a shadow of a doubt, what’s in what you’re using.
These days you can hardly pronounce many of the ingredients in the medicines you buy at the drugstore?
But I understand if you don’t wanna put out the extra effort to grow your own natural pharmacy. And I also understand you might not have the room for it. But if you do, consider this option for your health.
Nutrition and wellness found in the plants, water, and other elements here on our little blue planet were part of the original intention in God’s design. I know we live in a broken world, so the nutritional value found in those things isn’t nearly as powerful as it was in the first generations. But I believe it’s still better than all the question marks in so many so-called medicines.
As always, though, take my recommendations with a pinch of salt. And skip my recommendations altogether if you prefer western medicine and all the potential side effects. If so, I hope you can still…
Stay tuned,
Tony
