Any ideas what you will be doing in ten years? No, this isn’t a job interview. So, you don’t have to try to come up with an answer you think will impress me. The main thing I hope is that you’ll be doing something right.
And I hope I’ll be doing something right, too.
Of course, I’m at an age in my life where 10 years from now I could be in Heaven. If I am, at least I’ll know that I must’ve stuck with the right choice. Because there’s only one way to get there.
Anyway…
About 13 years ago, I wrote a rhyme that asked little kids a what will you be doing question? And then I gave them a bunch of choices for answers. But I put them in the form of questions.
I enjoy writing for kids with a goal of getting them to think about the world around them. Because I want kids to understand where we came from and why it matters. And I like to encourage them to be doing something right so they can please their parents and God. Asking questions often does a better job of getting them to think about it than just teaching them stuff. And I’m always thankful when they listen.

Will you see a bear pursuing
When you go somewhere canoeing?
Will it all be your undoing
