Wow! I’m sure I don’t have to tell you there’s a ton of competition for consumer attention these days. The good news is there are some extremely effective tools you can use and give yourself the advantage in a noisy world. Maybe you’ve heard of these tools. Words. Yeah, words are powerful tools you can combine with the latest technology to:
- Arouse curiosity faster, and
- Build relationships better, and
- Captivate emotions (and customers) with more credibility.

Your cool media player, your latest ultra-thin cellphone, your connection to the airwaves for commercial-free radio, and the flattest, baddest, biggest-screen TV available. Every connection you make in this world is done using words. In fact, I dare you to come up with any media where words aren’t used. Even communication with pictures only relies on words because images conjure up relevant and meaningful words. No, you can’t communicate in any way, shape, or form without words.
Your business needs words, too. But not just any kind of words. They need to be persuasive, . And it’s important to emphasize the word “YOU” in your marketing words. Show your audience, your clients, or your customers how your creative ideas, products, or services can help them in more ways because you care about their success. Be real. Words help you do that.

I recently built a WordPress website for a client of mine who just opened a brick and mortar business in Colorado Springs.
