The Longest Day
Well, the Summer Solstice for 2012 has arrived. This is also called the longest daylight day of the year.
And it makes me ponder time.
Einstein had a theory about time…that it’s relative. And while the elements of the theory can be divided into general and special, and we could get all complicated and discombobulated…let me just say that today I believe it to be true.
After all this is called the longest day…
But it has flown by for me. And you can Google songs about long days and come up with over 307 million results. A lot of singer songwriters have written songs about long days.
And yet…you’ll hear everyone say things like “man, how time flies!”
I say it’s all because no matter how long the days are…there aren’t enough of them in this life.
What do you say?
