I hope you’re not the doom and gloom type. Because, if so, this short post is probably gonna make you cringe. But don’t get too worked up. Keep in mind, it’s geared for young kids.
And I’ve been sharing a lot of these sunny rhymes the last week or so to give parents and grandparents some good stuff to share with their young’ns. Rhyme and Reason stuff based on the power of God’s love.
When Elgielene and I look for something to watch on TV before we call it a day, we see so much dark junk. Your kids and families are bombarded with it from just about every angle. And you’ve been in this boat so long, it might be hard to see how fast it’s sinking.
That’s why I believe it’s still a great idea to take at least a little time to balance some of that darkness with the light of God’s love. Today I have a short poem called…
Sunny Day Rhymes
This day is a sunny day
Right from the very start…
As long as sunny sunshine shines
In every sunny heart.
And…
If you love this sunny day,
Then make the best of it.
Tomorrow can be sunny too.
