I know I’m probably always just one word away from offending somebody with all my Bible thumping. By the way, I carry my Bible around in a Logos app. So, thumping it would look kinda crazy.

Anyway…

I might also be one word away from encouraging a really great day.

I believe God wants me to try. And I also say that because here you are, reading something I wrote. Just like the truly dedicated fan you are. No, don’t get embarrassed. No need to blush. Go ahead and own it. You fan you.

But chances are you are not a kid. And this rhyme and reason, I’m about to share, was written for kids, basically.

So, try it out on your kids or grandkids. Or someone else’s kids or grandkids. Or even some kids or grandkids you find on the street. Wait…don’t do that. That would be weird. Not to mention (but I will) it’s probably illegal.

But then again, come to think of it, good luck trying to find any kids or grandkids outside anyway. These days they are a few and far between out there in the real world.

Anyway…

Read this rhyme to a kid (after you’ve read it of course). And see what word they come up with for the question at the end. You can email me their guesses, and yours if you like. It might be a lot of fun to see the different things you come up with.

In a little bitty house
In a little bitty town
Lived a little bitty kid
With a great big frown.

Well, the little bitty kid
Found a little bitty bird
With a little bitty note,
And it said one word.

The little bitty kid
Read the little bitty note
With the little bitty word
That a wise one wrote.

And a little bitty smile
Hugged his little bitty lips.
In his little bitty yard
He did three back flips.

Take a little bitty guess
In your little bitty day.
What little bitty thing
