Yeah, America used to be good and beautiful. Because freedom and liberty gave the citizens more expanded boundaries to make their own decisions.
And the citizens made many good and beautiful decisions.
If you’re an American, your life is still full of choices. But, in a world full of sin and temptation, you sometimes choose the stupid stuff. You’ve noticed this in your life, right? I’ve noticed that in mine.
Sure, some bad choices you make have little or no consequences. Wearing plaid shirts with striped pants? Not good. But other than maybe your ego, nobody gets hurt. And you’re the only casualty when you have a third cup of coffee on an empty stomach. Basically nobody else is affected.
But here’s where you cross a bad line…
When you make a choice that causes someone else to suffer negative consequences. And when the negative consequences include death, there’s absolutely no justification for that choice.
Members of the so-called “pro-choice” movement moved away from that label. Because, even though they won’t admit it, they know abortion means a mother made the choice to have her unborn baby murdered. Yep, in the vast majority of cases where a pregnant woman goes into an abortion clinic, a death occurs. But it’s almost never the mother, the one who made the choice.
It’s almost always an unborn baby who was given no opportunity for choice whatsoever. What’s so “pro-choice” about that? And don’t even start to say “it’s a women’s health issue.” Since when did it become necessary to kill an unborn baby to assure a woman’s health? (hint: the answer is never)
And if you include the woman’s emotional and mental health in the equation, the cure becomes the cause. A lot of research shows most women never fully recover after an abortion.
Yes, life is full of choices.
