A lot is going on Inside Your Head...keep it as good as you can.

There’s a lot going on inside your head.

So, maybe you’d better sit down and let’s go over a few things together. OK? First: Are you happy? If you are, share that with as many people as you can. Do your best to spread happy around. A little goes a long way. But if you have a lot of sad thoughts inside your head, don’t share those right away. Think about what’s making you sad, and see if there’s a good way to change sad into glad. Here’s a hint…if you pray to God, you might be surprised how fast those sad thoughts could fade away.

A lot is going on Inside Your Head...keep it as good as you can.

Second: Do you love the people around you? If you do, you want to do nice things for them. Right? Well, one of the easiest things you can do for the people you love is say good things to them. And to say good things to them you need good thoughts.

And to have good thoughts you need to put good things inside your head.

Third: Here are some ways to do that…

  • Read a fun book full of adventure and imagination
  • Only watch movies with good things in them
  • Play fun games that make you use your brain
  • Tell funny jokes and stories
  • Compliment your mom or your dad or brother or sister

Now…isn’t that all really easy? You could do any of those things with one ear tied behind your back…I mean…one hand tied behind your back. So…read this poem and start getting good things inside your head.

Inside your head are invisible thoughts,
And they’re all tied together with invisible dots…
And they help you think about what you’ll say.
So think a little bit before your words fly away.

See, words can do some invisible things.
They can make people jumpy like a puppeteer’s strings.
Don’t use words you’re thinking when you’re mad.
They can make someone nervous and make someone else sad.

Think about how much your words might mean
To a loved one who’s teetering somewhere in between
A real good day or a day they dread.
So make sure you get good things inside your head.

Stay tuned,
