Years ago, I wrote a song called Do Something. And a few years after that I wrote another song called Do Right. Obviously they’re both about doing. And that’s because it’s crucial to be active not passive in your faith.
Thankfully it’s easy to be active, not passive.
And the difference it can make can be massive, not only in your life, but in the lives of those you know and care about.
…put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts (Colossians 3:12–15,
