Living in the Denver, Colorado area I’ve had many opportunities to hear the Empire Carpet commercials…and their catchy jingle.
Maybe you have too. They started out in the Chicago area, and a guy named Lynn Hauldren wrote the jingle. He just died yesterday, but his
music lives on. Read more about him HERE. You can also listen to one of the original commercials. Notice how there’s only a 7 digit phone number.
Maybe one of these days someone will write a short blurb about some music I left behind. Hopefully not too soon…
