Down On The Singer Songwriter Ranch

As some of you know…I’ve been working on a collection of lullaby songs I call “Bedtime Buckaroos”. I just finished some lyrics a couple of days ago to another one of those songs. It’s called “Pony Dreams”.

Sometimes words come to me as a direct result of something I saw. Sometimes words happen because of something I heard…or a single word I liked…or a combination of words that sound good together. Other times a whole bunch of words flood my brain as a direct result of writing a totally random first line. That’s how this song came about.
